    Script to Disable Drivers?

    g'morning,

I'm looking for a script to disable/enable two specific Windows drivers (my wi-fi and cd-rom) and haven't had any luck through Google. Does anyone know how to do this?

The problem I'm having is that both those drivers need to be disabled in order for me to record music on my laptop (i.e. the drivers cause latency). It gets tedious disabling/enabling them every time I want to record something.

    Thanks.

    may help

If you write what exactly do manually to disable them /else I have to search Google/, I can write a tool in Autoit for everyone with same needs.

oh wow, hey. forgot about this thread.

    what i do:

in windows xp pro, service pack 3...

    1. right click my computer
    2. click "properties"
    3. click the "hardware" tab
    4. click "device manager"
    5. scroll to the cd-rom, right click and click "disable"

I do the same for the network card.

    thanks!
