Script or programme required please

I use a application that now requires an update that is no longer available thus everytime i start it up it asks for the update.
The programme works fine apart from the pop up message but would like it not to keep popping up.

If i can somehow use a small programme or script to let it think it is within the date required it will be sorted.

Any help with a script or programme please that will do this for me.
