Search

I am somewhat code oriented but nowhere near a professional, I dabble. But I can turn out decent websites from a graphic stand point, which is where this project starts.

I am going to overhaul a website and update everything. I'd like to incorporate a search function into the site because it will have a lot of articles and pages. So it would be nice to have the search option. I'm thinking the google search page may be the best route to go. The site would be basic HTML for the most part, but I'm not afraid of using php if the best route would be a legit script built in. If anyone could recommend the pros and cons of going with a google integrated search or custom script I'd appreciate ideas. Thanks!

Hey there where so many ideas you may get it from experts when you search in SE .I n my point of view using PHP would definitely hit your sites .Google allows HTML as their most frequent codes for websites.
