Serverside XSL Transformation

Hi!

I have a shared hosting plan that i recently bought from www.hostgator.com with a ton of features:

I am going to use a page that will need to perform on the fly XSL transformations whenever a page is being viewed. The output needs to be xhtml.

I've heard of PHP and Perl that could do this.

What language should I use and please help me find resources on how to properly implement the behavior into my hosting.
