Shopin cart script

Im sure theres a script out there that does what I want it to do because theres no limits to what we can do... I'm looking to set up a shopping cart. I can set up a basic shopping cart In Js... but im looking to incorperate some more features. I figure PHP might be the right script to do this all in.

I want to be able to set an available quantity, and when some one purchases an item, it refreshes to the appropriate quantity. Basicly, Im trying to make the shopping cart system as self-opperated as i possibly can. If anyone can help me out with this i would be eternaly greatful. I'm looking for a script or even a site where i can learn to do all of this.. thanks in advance
