Hi, i have set up a website that i would like to include a user login system into. Obviously this would need a database (correct me if i'm wrong) but i am not sure what database to use andhow i'm gonna use it. This database would only hold about 40 usernames, passwords and emails. I have learnt about JavaScript and have learnt about coding such as ASP (not in as much detail).
I am not sure what coding to use where. Like what type of coding goes into the actual browser page then where does the other types of coding go. I understand the coding in itself but i am not sure where it goes. Alo could someone reccomend a database server suited to my needs? Thanks ever so much. Dan |

What have you got available on your server?
For 40 users, you could actually get away with flat text files, if you had to. Have you CGI or PHP enabled on your server?
