Social networking php script..can anyone make this work?

Ok, I purchased this social networking script, but I can't seem to get it to work.

I have created the mysql database, uploaded the files, changed the mainfile like it says, and I think I uploaded the sql tables right through phpmyadmin.

I'm just wondering if this script even works.

See if you can make it work. I'm having no luck.

It looks to be open source, it uses various xoops models and such.
