Terminal Output Manipulation
I am just learning how to create scripts, i have to make a script that uses the diff command to compare the output from the terminal to a file...how do i put the output of the terminal to a a file so that i can compare the two files....thanks

It would be easier to help you if you gave more information, such as what environment this is in. Any extra information would be useful.
