Unix Script ..
Hi list,

I want to achieve the following in Unix shell scripting(ksh)

a) validating the command line arguements :
i am passing 1 arguement and want to check whether it is character or numeric and depending on this i want to do some processing

b) converting lower to upper case characters

I don't think that there will be any scripts like this, because what you are trying to achieve is extremely simple. What language do you want it written in?
