    Question Updating chart on webpage

I am trying to figure out the best way to do this. Maybe you all can help.

I would like to create a chart on my website that has times listed in 30 minute increments that people would sign up for. Basically, people would find the time they would like to sign up for and click on that field. When they click on it, a pop-up box would appear that would allow them to enter their name. When the OK or Submit button (I really don't care what it says) is clicked in the pop-up window, the original page is updated with their name now apearing in the selected time slot.

I currently have the ability to use MySQL, .php, and .cgi.

    Any ideas?
