Web Portal like MySpace.
Hi. I'm trying to develop a web portal / community like myspace.com But on a focused group of people. I'd like to have it some what closed so only the admin can register new profiles.
With or with out the admin control, can anyone reccomend a script that will allow the development of user profiles / web pages like myspace?
I was thinking maybe phpnuke. But I'm open to your suggestions.

I got a little bit of a kick out of this description! But anyway...

The Nukes seem to have a lot rolled up in them, but I keep hearing about messy code and security issues, so do some research first. While a little more work out-of-the-box to customize, some of the Content Management Systems like Drupal have everything you need without the cookie-cutter Nuke look and feel. Unless you want that.

Typo3 is most suitible for very large and complicated CMS projects like a major city newspaper or corporate site, in my opinion. My main issue with Typo3 is really crappy support forums, and documentation issues.
