Whois Script
Hello, im not 100% sure if this is the correct forum for this topic, but i hope so, if not please move it.
Basically what im looking for is a Whois lookup script thats free, that i can easily add to my website.
If possible, i would like it to have .co.uk domains, aswell as all the ordinary .com, .net etc..

I have tried quite a few, but none seem to work.

my site has a whois script in it. there's also mwhois I've used before that works quite well..

if you're running on unix/linux you could, in theory run the php command:

PHP Code:
<?php

$domain = $_GET['domain'];
$tld = $_GET['tld'];
echo exec("whois ".$domain.".".$tld);

?>


which will print the results of a whois onto the screen (with the tld passed as co.uk and the domain as bbc for example would do whois bbc.co.uk) but there are security implications with this method, but if you can do verification of data then its possible.
