WysGui ~ The Open Source Site Manager

WysGui 2 is Open Source and all information regarding the Demo, Download, Up-to-Date Features, and more can found at
    php.OpenSourceCMS.com

Introducing my greatest work yet. WysGui is a CMS who's very powerful in terms of delivering content and modules to your pages.

WysGui is coded in PHP 5.2, but should work as low as PHP 4.2. Though I haven't tested the PHP 4 series for this version yet.

It also supports other development as well; Anything on your web server can be edited through the WysGui Manual Editor.

The Admin Panel is an array of icons, and the Site Tree is actually a data/file system displaying first MySQL dependent pages in one section, then every file on your site in a file/folder type structure. These two features are implemented using the Icon Map class, which can be used by developers in various ways on custom modules.

Content & Modules are organized using three fields: Page, Parent, and Group.

Pages are pretty self-explanatory. The page obviously indicates the web page which showcases the content/module. Admins can indicate certain pieces of content to appear on all pages; Such as the header image, nav bars, footer, search bars, etc.

The Parent is the section of the page to showcase the content/module. This is typically either the Header, one of the Sidebars, the MainBody, or the Footer. Advanced Administrators can also create custom parents, though this feature isn't exactly implemented within the admin panel yet.

So if you'd like a top logo or a sign-in box on all pages. You would simply create a piece of content, select page: "All Pages", and parent: "Header". It will then nest the content or module in the desired spot. Well, what if we want to further organize the content? That's where groups come in.

Groups indicate the section of the parent to nest the content/module. Groups get us away from the typical blog atmosphere seen on most current CMS systems. With groups, you can keep an intro article on your homepage while having a blog-style new system under that. With a news system, you want the latest articles to appear up top. If all of the content was in one single entity, we could only order it ascending or descending. Well now we can do allot more. Mind you, we can also toggle the group order from ASC or DESC.

It sounds awesome. It'd be good if you could make a new skin/theme for the demo, the current one doesn't look so professional.
