Well, there are definitely plenty of paid and free live chat scripts available, but the question that troubles me: "Is live chat worth implementing at the site?". Because even if live chat software is commercial it's price is only a fraction of cost you have to spend on live chat services. The biggest concern is the time that have to be spent in chats with potential customers, if the site is rather big this will end up in hiring a full time live supporter or (even a support team). Will additional sales generated by live help cover all the expenses? Hm... Anyone have a clue?
