Alt and Title Tag

Any difference between using "Alt" and "title" tag on images?

Alt and Title Tag

"Alt" tag is used for search engine to optimize your images. It is also known by alternative text. "Title" tag is used for user to describe about images.

alt tag is used by search engines to figure out what the image is about. This can be considered the most important aspect when it comes to image optimization. Although I'm not sure about this I think it is used by software that helps blind people understand web pages.
Title tag is there to provide additional information about the said image and can be visible when you hover over the image.

Img tags can only have Alt elements. Tittle elements belong to A Href tags (links). You can have both, but only ALT tags are believed to have any weight with search engines. I like to use Tittle tags on links to give tooltips to users.

Alt and Title Tag

Alt is not a tag it is an attribute used with the img tag to provide a name to the image, while, Title tag is the tag used to give some title to the webpage or website, it is used with the head tag.
<img src=*.jpg alt=star></img> will give you the output the image and when you hover on it it will display the name star.
While the content written under title tag will be displayed on the top of the browser <title>abc</title> will give you the output on a webpage title bar written as abc-mozilla firefox(if firefox is used to view the web page)

The alt attribute is an 'alternative' to the image, and is what the
browser shows if images are turned off, or the visitor is using a text
browser.

The title attribute is generally for additional descriptive text to go
along with the image. This is where you place text you want to display
in the "tooltip".

Title: the title of the image.
Alternate text: idem with Title: it appears when the image cannot be displayed.
Caption: this text is displayed under the image.

Alt VS Title

Alt text is supposed to be an alternate data supply for those those that have chosen to disable pictures in their browsers and people user agents that ar merely unable to “see” the photographs. It ought to describe what the image is concerning and obtain those guests interested to check it.

Image title (and the part name speaks for itself) ought to offer extra data and follow the principles of the regular title: it ought to be relevant, short, catchy and elliptic

Yes little difference between them.

title tag is like give Name to image

Alt tag is also same but google use this name as a text while google don't understand and take title tag as name....

Google see that there is alt tag then google image that there is image in this and alt should be relevant to image.....

When we use image on our webpage we need to describe that we use "Title" tag. But also we can get huge traffic from this image if we can do proper image optimization. For image optimization we use "Alt" tag. By using we can well optimize our images.
