Anchor links and page URLs
Hi,
When a crawler visits a URL and the search engine indexes the page are the URL's with anchor links classed as seperate pages or the same? I'm wondering because I have links (in the navigation) that use direct URLs - thispage.html - and links to specific page sections - thispage.html#here. I'd assume they are treated as the same thing. Any thoughts folks? |

The logical approach would be to strip the anchors and index thispage.html
