Any decent PPC programs for publishers?
Hay guys at the moment it looks like I'm stuck with Google's Adsense program and it's tiny hoizontal ads that are outdated and that you cant read properly in any modern browser.
What I am looking for is a publisher that will offer PPC ads for me to place on my site but actually have ads that you can read at a decent font size. Any recomendations? Any warnings if so please PM me there name so not to break forum rules. Cheers Jaz. |

Might be worth giving adbrite.com a looking at. Im suing them on my site at the moment and they seem to be better then google. Kontera ContentLink only do inline advertising but this is the most efficient type of advertising out there at the moment. Mightbe worth giving this a go. |

Ok thank you for answering my question.
One thing when you said this are you sueing or using them. Quote:
Because the answer may effect if I bother checking them out TBH The other thing is how do you find adbrite.com? Fair? Pay out when expected? Good selection of ads? Competitor ads? If so can they be removed? Customzation of ads? Fixed font size or fluid, px or ems? Would you honestly recommend them or is it more an answer to the question? If they are negative comments please PM me to keep within forum rules. Thanks a lot. Jaz |

SOrry that was using them. I'm personally finding adbrite.com a lot better than the other competitors out there. Though im using Kontera for inline ads as they are the leaders for them. There payment scheme is 2 times a month from what i remember and as long as you hit your pre-defined ammount then you will get paid. Else it will roll over to the next month. (You will get paid you money). All the advertising companies I have used make use of the fixed pixels. This is because its a standard and stops people from abusing the rights to advertise on there site. Adbrite offer a range of ad types and there payment is good (bit better than adsense i have found). I would personally recommend them, and at the moment there ranked second to google in terms of size. They sponsor ads to a number of large companies. One plus note is that they also allow full screen ads which are good for revenue and allow people to bid for locations on your website. Give them a try to see what you think. |

Hay buddy.
Thanks for the reply it must getting late so it is appreciated. I have sent them an email and I am impressed from what i have seen. I think I'm going to have a busy day tommorrow answering the 8 emails I sent out today to differnet companies, on top of taking the kids out and doing more on the site to-do list But the more the better TBH this to me is new territory so I am looking to soak up as much info as possible as quick as possible. If any one else would like to give a few more they are welcome, cant have enough ad compaines in my book Cheers Matta very much appreicated. Jaz |

Hay just an update out of those 8 companies I emailed the only 1 to reply was adbrite.
I honestly cant believe 7 companies have taken what 3 weeks and not a reply, not even automated, talk about throwing bussiness away. I emailed Adbrite at 11pm and by 7:30am the next morning I had a reply waiting for me and not automated either. On top of that 3 more emails from them before 9am from 2 differnt advisors and very detailed, talk about good bussiness sense and a good opinion of the company from the off. I would like to say I had companies replying left right and centre and I chose Adbrite out of thier good rates etc... but that just isn't the case. That said what they offer on paper does seem very good as well as thier already amazing customer service. Jaz Last edited by jazajay : September 23rd, 2008 at 02:49 AM. |

I have tried adbrite also. I found them very good particularly (if i remember rightly) because you can also add to your adbrite account your adsense account, meaning that if the ads that google offer for your keyword are a better CPM, then they will be shown instead.
Whatever company you test or trial, make sure that you have patience with the results!
