HiI was wondering if someone could take a quick look at my site and tell me if I've done anything to get on Google's bad side? I don't think I have, but my site has been gone from it's original spot for the last 3 days-it used to be on page 1 but now I can't find it under that search term or other ones I used to find it on, on any page... Someone suggested it may be in the sandbox, but I did some reading on that and I know that's not the case. My site is here Does anyone know of any Google updates going on at the moment? Anything you could tell me would be appreciated, thank you... Chinababy |

Tell me what you used to search ... I want to try this.
It's possible it could be the sandbox effect though. It's an interesting topic to read up on. Anyone reading this can read into the sandbox effect, here -- http://www.webpronews.com/insiderreports/searchinsider/wpn-49-20040506GoogleSandBoxEffectRevealed.html but anyway .... tell me what EXACT terms you've put into the search bar where you could find your site and now can't. |

For the search term "sexy lingerie" i was at #37, for "erotic leather lingerie" I was on page 3, if I put my domain name in the search bar it came up at # 1... My site isn't new, it's about 2 years old, I thought only new sites went into the sandbox? But I'll check out that link, see what else I can learn about it. |

I searched in Google for your web-site domain: www.set-the-mood.com and was able to find it just fine. It was the ONLY site listed.
After searching for "erotic leather lingerie", your site was listed as #7 on Google.com. After searching for "sexy lingerie", your site was #119 (page 12, second from the bottom). Try it and let me know what you find. |

well if i search for "www.set-the-mood.com" it comes up, what I meant was, I used to be able to just type in "set the mood" and it would be at number one... I don't see my site for the search term "erotic leather lingerie", and for the search term "sexy lingerie", I do see my site, but not as a direct link but as a link on another site... How were you able to find this and I can't seem to...? |

Interesting ... When I search for erotic leather lingerie, it didn't show up this time but I can guarentee it was at #7 when I searched last.
I wasn't able to find it under set the mind either. Try searching on google, or just browsing their site, and look at how the page rankings work. Sorry I can't be much more help. If you figure something out, please post here again. |

I don't know what you mean (by the way, it's set the mood, not set the mind) but thank you anyway...

Sorry, that's what I meant ... doing a lot at the same time :P
I meant that, earlier I could find your site using those terms then when you said you couldn't, I tried again and couldn't. It's just strange. No more to be said. Sorry I couldn't help. Try searching google more. |
