Change frequency and priority effects on Page Rank
hi
i am generating XML site map for my site to post in google.. after study i found two confusing tags <priority>0.5</priority> <changefreq>daily</changefreq> different people use different values in these tags, i want to ask what is the best value for these tags and how does it affect my page ranks in google? in fact currently my site has PR 5 and i dont want to lose it by any mistake. therefore i want to double check this issue before i post my sitemap in google.. please reply.. thanks

Hi Jojoba,
Take a look at this from Google. Its got quite a bit of useful information re Sitemaps - Note the XML Tag Definitions coming straight from the horses mouth.
