Question Changing Website description on Google?

I submitted one of my webpages to Google a few years ago, and I get a fair amount of hits daily, but when I do the search myself, I dont like the description that it gives.
I kinda didnt know what I was doing when I was filling out all the info all those years ago.
Is there a way I can still change that....or is it a done deal?

I haven't got a clue whether you can change the description you gave when submitting you website, but it might be a good idea to put a new 'revised' version of your description in the meta-tags of your pages. Google and other search-engines will normally pick this up. Doing a new submission would probably also help ...

I think the best way to change the description is to

1. Find where the description is taken from in your page
2. Change it if you can

You can't change the description of your site just by resubmitting your site to Google. The only way to change the description is to change the content of your page. Also look up description meta tag on the web, and add it in your page if you don't have one already. That can help.
