Content generator

I am trying to complete pages for my websites but creative writing is slow and costly.
How can I get some decent content without hiring a writer?
I saw a few ads for content generators. Do you advice for or against it?

Those content generators are a waste of time. Crappy content gets crappy results. Want good results? Get good content.

There's an old saying that comes to mind about a million moneys at a million typewriters...

If you don't want to hire professional writers, then write content yourself, or ask friends and family to help out. Sure, you won't get the 1000's of pages that the content generators can give you, but you will end up with good human-readable content, and that is what gets links and brings visitors back.

even if you're site is just articles and adds, people are a whole lot less likely to click on an add if the article that it surrounds is a pile of ****.

I wouldn't go with content generators. If they were all that and a bag of chips, then there would be a lot of writers out of work.

I'd say to not hire a professional so to speak, but a freelancer. There are many writing forums out there where freelancers bid on work that you post... Check their writing samples / portfolio and pick the best one for your price. Keep in mind to go through the samples and such, as you may find incompetent writers who think they're all that. I came across one of these mainly because I was in a rush and didn't check all of her samples.

But my 2nd choice, after going through her portfolio, showed she was a good choice, and now she does all my writing... and is extremely affordable.

I believe the best bet would be to find a reputable freelancer that you can count on whenever you need him/her. You are correct, writing creative content yourself is usually slow and can come at a greater cost (your time).
