custom file extension
is it bad for SEO using a custom file extension?, for example www.domain.com/path/file.yeah
i want to use a custom file extension. my files are php scripts and i can send a text/html header to tell browsers and spyders that they can parse the file as html, but i want to know if the custom extension could be bad for search engine optimization thank you

Search engines aren't worried about the page extension, so use whatever you like. The only thing that SE spiders get upset about is long URL strings like page.php?id=sdjklgsdkljhr&image=r345&state=rwrlktuj3l4d etc.... Keep the variables down and you'll do alright.

Just a quick note on that, two or less variables are considered alright, more than two is the SE get picky.
