Databse on 1 php page, how do I index each listing

I have a site that is run off a database(MySQL), it lists numerous businesses off of the same PHP page. How do I have a search engine index each individual business and/or different result from database?

If this doesn't make sense please let me know!!

Thanks in advance!

Addition to prev post

I haven't received much help from my previous post, so I thought I would expand upon my question.

I would like to know if google or other SEs will search each page on my site. I am running a php/mysql site where my urls commonly contain ?al=a & br=1 variables.

From reading most of the posts, some people suggest spiders will stop at these pages because there could be an infinite amount of them, but I believe it is important for the spiders to view these pages to increase my page rank and possible content.

I have been looking at using the mod_rewrite to change my urls to something like mysite.com/a/1/ (using the same example as above), but I do not want to learn how to use mod_rewrite if it isn't important or if it won't help. I also notice that Devshed does not rewrite all of their URLs but they still get indexed.

If anyone can suggest a method that will direct the spiders to each dynamically developed page that I have...please post a reply - your assistance will save me much valuable time.

Thanks!

you're talking about deep crawl. Whether Google will crawl your site deeply depends on PageRank of your site and pages and how many external sites link to your pages (more specifically your dynamic pages).

To get more helpful answers from the forum, the key is to ask right question, one specific question per post. It is said that a question correctly asked is half answered .
