Does it matter if back links are not related to my website?
I'm currently link building on my new website www.property-krakow.com and would like to know if I should only be targeting related sites back links? Will unrelated back links hurt my ranking?

according to some people's theory , they may hurt your ranking, but when you have little choice, you may have to do that

From what I have always understood (I may be wrong though), it won't hurt your ranking. It may just not help you out as much as related sites.

It will help your PR, but not much on your rankings in search engines. PR is about backlinks, rankings is about relevance (and PR).

I think the same, it won't hurt but won't help either

It might help your PR but unlikely to help SERPS. But there is always the danger it will hurt SERPS if the algorithms change
