Flash content and Submitting your site

Does anyone know of any good guides that tell you the best methods towards optimizing Flash content and/or Javascript menus? Also, what are the best ways to submit your sites to search engines?

There is no need to submit your site in search engines. Just submit your site in directories. Directory submission helps in getting more backlinks. Also try to get links from relevant sites which are already listed in search engines. When your backlinks are more, search engines will find & list your site.
