Formmail being flooded by SEO spammer?
We have a formmail on our website where people can go and change the address of their subscription. However as of this weekend (May 20, 2006) we have started to get clumps of emails (8-10 at a time) directing us to a website (http://www.areaseo.com). When I tried to visit the website nothing existed at that domain. It also says that the name is "google pr main" or "pagerank main" it varies. Have anyone else experienced this problem? It is really beginning to drive our subscription manager a little crazy. I don't really know if this should fall in this category, but thought it was worth a shot.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! Carol |

This either belongs in Web Desing Help or the language specific forum for your script. Do NOT post this message again in one of those forums, instead, use the red triangle to report it to a moderator and have him or her move it to the appropriate forum based on the above.

Use something like CAPTCHA from Web Wiz. I put that on loads of forms and spam reduced to virtually nothing.

Or even a simple math equation like I have on What Is What.
