Google and HTTP Header "Location:"
Hi,
Don't know if this has come up before but i couldn't find anything on it. On most of my sites i use the HTTP header and Location: home/index.php to home them into a folder. There is no reason for it, i've just always done it because of the way i create my templates. What i wanted to know is, does Google like this less than if it had just been given the page or does it not really mind? Thanks, Andy |

Did you ever get an answer to this? I'd like to know also.

No i didn't. I've been trying to find out and still don't know if it makes a difference... I tried setting up a test with links going to / then forwarding it to /home and it seems to forward on the page ranking but i can't be sure that its giving the same value as it would if it was just / I might try a few more tests over coming months |
