When does Google update its ODP index?

They're not synchronized.. and haven't been for quite some time

Actually I don't really care about ODP except that it affects my listing in Google.. I guess

what is ODP? is that the spider? if so, i thought they said they update it once a month? well.. they last updated it in mid september that i think...
