Google map on google search page

My virgin post in the SEO forum....

This morning I was just googling for a particular private school in my hometown. I entered the name of the school and the name of the town. (won't put here, don't want to slam their little .org website)

OK, well not surprisingly their website came up top of the search results. But wonder of wonders, it had a little google map beside it actually in the google results I thought maybe they put something in their home page to get that but I looked at their page source and couldnt see anything. Was expecting some meta tag that says Hey we are at 1234 northeast sewage treatment plant drive in piddlewater idaho 56778 please googlemap us. Nope.

Obviously I would like a google map to pop up by my sites in the google results too. How do you get this? Does it only happen if you are #1?

answered the question. This was not a goggle service on my google wiki but by tunneling through reams of google stuff I found that you submit a business listing to google they will do it. Thank you monotreme, you're most helpful.
