Google search results

Does anyone have a problem with their Google search results?
I have consistently been in the top 5 for my search term' websites for sale' for over 1 year.
My website hasnt changed,
I use no dirty tricks to obtain that position,
My site has completely dissapeared, it appears low down on other search results and my page rank hasnt changed.
Other sites under this search term have also dissapeared.
I have been watching closely for 10 days now and my site is being indexed almost daily and the search results are very erratic and sometimes completely irrelevant.
Any ideas???

Send a message via ICQ to vafalik
what is your url please? the same in your signature? well, not changing you rwebsite, might be a reason.....but let see your site first

i checked the site in your signature....did you try checking the links to the sites now in first 5 ranks of google search for your term? they have much more links than your web site.... i could not understand clearly that are you related somehow to name5? if so, and if you ignore the links from that site to yours, then you dont have too many links........in this case, i think you should work on links to your site....

You might want to read the following article.

Even if you are not using any dirty trick, you might suffer from latest changes made in Google's algorithm. It's been rumored that if the density of a keyword is over a certain level, it does no good to your ranking and in the worst case, you drop your ranking by 100 - 200 and possibly more.

I'd also like to share my personal observation with you; it may help you, it may not. I find that many sites that put keywords in their URL strings like

ww w.keyword1-keyword2.com/keyword3/keyword4

have lowered their rankings rather dramatically in general. I see two possible reason for this.

1. If URL strings include keywords, then internal links also include those keywords, which contribute to create high density of keywords in the site. Google suspected that the site owner put those keywords primarily because he/she wanted to get higher rankings although the site itself isn't exactly an authority site in whatever category the site is in. Thus, Google lowered their rankings.

2. Maybe Google weighed keywords in the site less and valued links and the volume of content more. Perhaps many sites related to "websites for sale" actually have more content than your site has?

I don't work for Google; I don't know anyone working there, so this is just speculation, but maybe this is something to think about. Food for thought.
