Help with getting a forum ranked
I have started a forum www.uselessrants.com and I was wondering since its just a forum, what are some good ways to get it ranked? Its really about nothing, just something people to cruise through while at work / bored... I setup friendly URLs is there anything else I should do?

get content? by that, I don't mean rip content, but get the word out.
Activity on the forum is important, but you want to put reins on the idiots They're not going to help you rank unless you're looking for adult visitors, and you don't have the content I'd assume they'd be looking for, so they won't stay
