Hi,

H1 tags must strictly only be used once on a page if your targeting a keyword - for h2's try to use 5-6 at the most! If your only using the H tags because of the size of writing, use a custom style for your text instead.

Cheers,
Sam

H1 tag used for starting a new top and h2 is used for sub topics. Please don't over do it.

sam9713 agrees: Brilliant
richpri agrees: With the advent of CSS these tages have become less prevalent. Use them sparingly if at all.

It will be good to repeat them in a proper format. In the same way you do them while writing articles at school or for internet marketing purpose.

But in most cases you use youst one H1 tags, and litle H2 tags.
Better make some H3 tags because i hier and see on web that google like when you have h3 tags.
H1 use main kaword or frases on your web.
H2 make second frases or keyword.
H3 Third frases.

Use 1 h1 and 3-4 h2. Also is important to use the main keyword in h1 and the other keywords in h2. Do not forget, the titles has to be readable ( you write the articles for people not for robots).

H1 and H2 tag is very important for any page to optimized in seo. Many experts believe that only one H1 tag in any particular page, but confused about H2 tag.

I thing H2 should also position only one instead of more than 1.But recently i review some blogspot site and i'm really surprise about header tag placements.

There wasn't any H1 tag or H2 tag placed on Title.

If you whant to put on main page H1 and H2, then you should use onlie 1 H1, and 2-3 at the most H2 tag.

It is a good practice if you use H1 tag at once only!

Its a good idea to only have a single h1 tag on a page and it should contain relevant seo keywords. The other heading sizes don't seem to matter much in SERPs.
