How many keywords should you search for?

Hi,

my main term is going to be "data recovery" and I current have a list of about 200 terms related to the above e.g.
  1. seagate recovery
  2. failed seagate recovery
  3. dead seagate recovery
  4. emergency data recovery
  5. exchange recovery
  6. exchange database recovery
etc etc

I will then use WordTracker for the next stage of my SEO. I was wondering whether a list of 200 keywords/phrases was too long or too short? I have added similar phrases i.e.
  1. recover lost data
  2. recover lost files
  3. recover lost images
  4. recover lost music
  5. recover lost photos
.... is this an issue aswell for SEO, Keyword Analysis and WordTracker ???

Many thanks,

Janusz

What do you mean by too long? If you're talking of listing them all on one page then yes. If you mean creating genuine content for each one then no its not too long. The more the better. Although it may take you some time!

I've just been using Wordtracker with a keyword list of over 450 words. Once I've sorted my list by KEI I couldn't care less about the bottom 400....

Prioritize the keywords

It is better to prioritize your keywords based on their traffic potential and their ad bidding range. Initially focus for the potential keywords first and proceed further.
