How often does google update it's links database

I have 2 sites, dynamictable.com and dynamic-tools.

I know these 2 sites link to each other, but when I check in google it says that no sites at all link to either.

Is google just slow to update this info?

google dont spider the sites too often,
it takes time index pages, sometimes days ... sometimes weeks.
use search engine friendly URLs so search engines can index them with ease

Google generally only lists PR3-4 and higher when you run the links query, it's not very accurate. At the moment I think it's only getting updated a few times a year, which is really slack.

If you're wanting to find a real number of links pointing to your site try using msn or yahoo instead

Google has always been very unreliable at listing these links, and even the Google toolbar doesnt show them. Install the Alexa toolbar and it will give a much more reliable rating.

ya not quite sure about it... for those that i post sometimes it take up to 2 weeks to show up...
