How to restrict google Desktop API
Hi all;
I hope someone could help me... I am searching the local Drive through Google Desktop API using ASP.NET. but when I retrieve the results it gives me results from the whole Hard Disk. I don't want a result like this one. I only want Google to search a specific folder in my HardDisk. Right now I made my own parsing mechanism to neglect the results from other directories but it slows down the performance alot. So if anyone knows how to make google itself to search only in a specific directory ? ? ? regards |

ahaaa..! it was very simple... i was a fool thinking that Google guys forgot to include restriction... It is in Google Desktop Prefences, under 'Search These Locations'. It basically indexd the specified folder specially on user request.
