I'm using a windows (pc) system. How do I check my webdesigns compatibility for Apples browser Safari?

The closest thing to Safari that's available for Windows is FireFox. This is the closest as far as coding standards go. if it looks righht in Firefox, there's a 99% chance it'll look right in Safari.

i was using a mac with safari over the weekend before i came back home to firefox and found that the css / xhtml 1.1 templates i've been working on render pretty much the same, if anything i prefer the look of it on safari.
Catacaustic's right. You could of course just go into the nearest Apple store and take a look for yourself........
