Well social networking sites like stumble-upon will give you an initial boost in traffic. And over time it is likely you will gain traffic.

I recently wrote an SEO article for a website which was submitted to digg and stumble-upon. Within the first week we had over 2000 page views from these sources according to google analyitcs. the month after that we continued to still get 500+ views.

So social networking traffic is important. Another method of gaining good quality traffic is to use PPC advertising through an advertising company. This traffic will be very high quality, though the downside is the on going cost. Google does very well with this as the adverts area regonal. This means you will not be wasting dollars on people with euros unless you want to.

I agree. Most of these ways can really help you drive traffic to your site. All webmasters recommend these strategies to others.
