Keep Positioning
I have a website that has a really good possitioning among search engines (yahoo, google, etc.) that good positioning gives me an davantage over others in terms of incoming traffic. I am planning first to migrate that website from its current server to another one.
Will that affect my search engine positioning? I will keep the same domain but im going to transfer it from one host to another. What can I do to keep my search engine positioning? |

Make sure that you have all your data on your new server before you switch.
As you probably know, DNS changes take time to propagate - make sure that your site is reachable all the time. So make sure your new site will work when the DNS finally changes to your new name server.

If you have planned to shift to a host of particular country specific as per your target market preferebly with that country specific tld it can be good move IMO.
