Keywording
A couple of questions for you and please let me know your thoughts.
I know that the meta keywords are being deprecated, though Is Yahoo still rating using Keywords? Now when Im keywording Im aiming for a particular town and the activity in the town. For instance Byron Bay Plumbers Would this be a valid keyword set? Byron Bay Plumbers , Byron Bay , Plumbers Or would that be seen as keyword spam? So much to SEO and it is a definate art and something that only comes through persistance.. All good but hey.? |

That should be acceptable.
I also recommend using those keywords and keyword combinations throughout your text. Instead of "they", use "the Plumbers," and instead of "it" or "there", use "Byron Bay". IOW, less pronouns, but don't overuse them so much that it's unpleasant to read.

I've gotten Yahoo referers from keywords that are only in the meta tags, not in the pages themselves. Though I don't recommend doing that, as it can be seen as keyword spam. Also, the word _may_ have been in a link to the page, though Yahoo does not place such a heavy emphasis on this as does Google.
I would remove "Byron Bay Plumbers" and just leave "Byron Bay, Plumbers". It _might_ be seen as spam otherwise, and "Byron Bay, Plumbers" really should be enough.
