Links and Press Release Sites Review
Hi All,
I had been doing some homework as I mentioned to a friend in the industry, I would share my review with "others" as he said.
Anyway, down to the goods.
We know there are those who use the press release web sites for help with links, and done properly can help. So over the last couple of months, we tried a few different popular places and here are the results. If you have indifferent feelings about any of the below, please post.
PR Site Review:
PRBot.com - Site was no longer available when we looked at it. They seem to have something odd in place in another language that i could not undestand, but could also find no where to post a press release.
OpenPress.com - Site is now just a bunch of feeds from PRWeb. I am not sure if they bought them out or not. I had heard rumour about the owner committing suicide or something, however I am almost possetive that PRbot & Open Press were related.
24-7Pressrelease.com - Our Company has used them twice, once with a $25 submission, which now gets news to google, lycos, ask jeeves, msn and a number of rss feeds, and we also submitted a $299 release where by we actually had a couple enquiries from media. They call this I think their mmd program that goes to a huge audience. (So far the best site for us... nice layout too).
PR Web - We had used them before, and they are a nice service, but I am finding our news gets "lost in the trees" sort of speak because they have so many people competing. I think our news went out to a number of places, and they appear to be a decent service as well.
Ereleases.comm - They appear to be a decent service as well, but only offer one package at $399, which seemed to be a similar package to 24-7pressrelease.com, but none they less look like a wonderful service.
media-blitz.tv - Ok, I looked at their web site for about 30 seconds and left.
Anyway, sorry to take so long to get back, but I wanted to wait for my results to come back.
All the best!
Lisa...
