Hey guys
I am new here, hello to everyone. Any idea how this search engine works. http://www.aardvark.co.za It gets its information from GOOGLE. But can it do that and also format it the way it wants to. Kelly |

Perhaps through the google API? http://www.google.com/apis/
Only drawback is you're limited to 1000 searches per day

Thanks
But the google API also says that there is only 10 queries per search request and this site has more that 10 per search, so can they be using the google api Kelly |

I think the "powered by google" is an indication that they are using one of Googles racked search servers. Google sells them to people who want to have the same technology, but have their own robot spiders, and want their own look and feel for the search, vs having google actually return their results.
Here is a link http://www.google.com/enterprise/ |

If you have Adsense then there is the Adsense For Search feature. I use it. It's not as customizable as I'd like, but it's not bad. Try it:
