I am looking for a search engine, that will give me more than 1000 results for a query. Anyone knows of any engine out there?

Sure.... It says "305,000,000" results, but if you go to see all results. You can only see the first 1000 results, and thats all. Ususally cannot see after page #10. Try it

Ha, weird...
Quote:
Admittedly, I did play with the URL a bit, but still... Interestingly, the query return 1000 less sites than the first time I queried ( about 7 hours before ) |

Lets say i type "India" , i get "Results 1 - 10 of about 365,000,000 for india [definition]. (0.15 seconds) "
But, when i am on page 100 (that is 1000 results), it stops there. NO more URLS ![]() |

Lets be hoenst here... If you're not in the top 1000 for the search term, you won't be found anyway. The amount of extra processing that it'd take to show up all of the results is huge. The main thing that is prohibitive is that a lot of scraper sites use the results pages to either find another sites rankings, or to pad their own content with stuff ripped off from the top sites on the searches.
Why do you need to see more then 1000 results? I'm sure there's got to be a good reason behind it. |

They intentionally limit this information because it serves no functional purpose. The only people concerned with results 1001+ are people trying to manipulate the system. Regular searchers stop looking 980 results before #1001.

Oh yes, there is a very good reason behind it. Might not be able to disclose it here, but i do need to see all available results here, no matter what shape, color or sex it is

There is a way to do it that can solve all your problems.
Buy Google and get access to it there. Honestly, that's going to be the only way that it'll happen. No SE is going to give open access to everyone to get EVERY result of the search because it'd chew up so much of their bandwith and the data that gets transfered would be huge, and the benfits from it are not worth the extra money for the SE's. So just deal with it... It can't be done. Only way to do it is to start your own search engine and run in the way that you want to. Of course, the cost associated with this would be pretty huge too. Really, what suggestions did you expect to get? |

hi,
tell me what will you do with more than 1000 results. if you are able to optimize properly then you can get your desire result of site within best 100. optimize your site properly and you will find every thing in best hundred. if every thing is possible within 100 then why to go for 1000.
