Most friendly file names?

Hi there,

I am about to rename my files to .html files to make them more friendly. I was wondering if it makes it more friendly if I rename files with multiple words in using underscores or hyphens?

For example: mydomain.com/a-new-page.html or mydomain.com/a_new_page.html

Any thoughts?

If your site is already indexed and all pages have PR than use 301 redirect once you rename the files. It will be batter to use (-) instead of (_)
