MSN has indexed my pages far less than google and Yahoo. is it the same for everybody?

A 100 people could reply some will agree and some won't.

Search engines see sites differently, it just depends.

you definately have to research and optimize for each SE individually.
a lot of principals behind the SE's remain constant...it's the details you need to work out.
