Register your site to as many as you can find, but related small directories, then search engines will find your site. It take some time to build traffic.

Get as many websites as you can to link to your website

Yours is not a very competitive keyword. Try to get as many links as possible. Consider exchange links with other sites and shopping directories, main competior sites.

...and always add link in your forum sig with text which is more related to your site, something that includes appropriate keywords, instead of "my" and "site"
