Need Help Questions About Keywords

I have a couple questions about the way google/yahoo see keywords

Here's a sample tag:

<meta name="keywords" content="dctalk, tobymac, tait, kevin max, pictures, welcome to diverse city, tobymac pictures, jesus freak, photos, kevin max imposter, rennovating diverse city, kmax">

questions:

1) do google / yahoo see any difference between dctalk and dc talk? should i put both or does 1 of those do the same job?

2) do google / yahoo see any difference between jesus freak and jesus freaks? or do they read them as the same thing? should i put both in there? or 1 does the same job?

Thank you in advance!!

for one thing, google indexes more on content than keywords, it only uses the keywords to create lookup lists on the content. To answer your question

1. both
2. google is intelligent enough, put both to cater for other search engines.

I cant speak for other search engines.

dctalk mp3s would be better, but the keyword tag alone will have very little effect, if any at all in ranking.

keywords are all words that people would type into the search engine...some people may spell it 'dctalk' others 'dc talk' and so on...giving a couple variations definately doesn't hurt.

keywords in page content and backlink anchor text will make a difference. Major search engines won't really give much (or no) weight at all for keyword meta tag. askjeev still uses keyword meta tag in its ranking algorithm.

Title

But title is still important, and keywords in text and links.
