I will defo get rid of that. I didnt design the site originally so that god I cant take "credit" for that! But if you could bear with it for the time being and give me any tips that'd be fantastic.

Hi,
One of the first things you should do is to add some text to your home page using the keywords and phrases you use in your meta tags. Keep the copy reader friendly and descriptive ...Desmond House, at the heart of Kinsale, County Cork offers high quality accomodation... aim for 2 or 300 words and it will give the engines something to bite on. (Don't try and stuff your keywords in because that will be counter-productive). A Google sitemap account (free) might be helpful and I would also suggest that you submit your site address to relevant on-line directories. Above all though be patient. The big boys are quite often slow in indexing site initially so don't get downhearted if you get no instant boost. SEO is, after all, an on-going thing.

Your titles don't look far off to me - they contain keywords without stuffing or repetition (which is bad) and read logically.
Take a look at some SEO tools here - there are some useful analysers and so on that you might find interesting. |

I use the tool at http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/ to ensure that my keywords relate to my websites content. As far as I know Google doesn't use keywords but other major engines prefer that they are there.
Your keywords ar listed as 36% relevant - perhaps this could be improved but overall you are on the right lines with the title and description. Hope this helps. |

Just had my first look at Google Sitemap. I'm using a 3rd party tool to make the xml file. The question I have is it asks how often is this site updated? With it being a B&B site and not really something that would be updated too often "Monthly" would probably be the best answer. But will this have an adverse effect on how its ranked or how often Google visits the site? Would it be better to lie and put "weekly" or "daily"?

The various sitemap tags and their use are explained by Google themselves here
Gives a bit of an insight to the whole Sitemap issue. |

hi,
try to use site map(if necessory try to use xml) site map or you can use html site map. for html site map you can follow this url http://www.purebathrooms.net/sitemap.htm. google gives most value to site maps and index your sites, which helps your site to have a good page rank. it is much better to have a xml site map. for xml site map you can take the help of google site map as follows http://www.xml-sitemaps.com try to write some articles and submit these articles in article directories. nearly about 200 article directories are there. |
