Hi everybody,
first of all i must state i'm kind of an amateur in sitebuilding etc. My site is hosted on the free webspace i get with my cable subscription. This company basicly allows me to do nothing at all. They do not support php, perl, frontpage, ...
All I can actually do is use basic html. Now I managed to build a nice site
http://users.pandora.be/jef_patat which I monitor with nedstat basic.
As i don't do this for a job, i don't wan't to pay for it an still be sure everything is reliable.
Now nedstat can't monitor spiders so I was thinking of taking some free acount with some host that provides php, link from my homepage to that page and then monitor spiders on that page using a php script.
Is this something which is possible and which script should I use best?
I mainly want to do this because my site has been in google for quite a time, has been growing, has more inbound links than before and still no new pages are added to google and i lost my cache in google. So I would like to know if google, and of course other SE, really crawl my pages and how often.
Kind regards, de Jef
