    KEI - keyword effectiveness index .According to the KEI, the best keywords are those that have many searches and that don't have much competition in the search results.
    That means the ratio of competition to the traffic should be as low as possible.

    The higher the KEI, the more popular your keywords are, and the less competition they have. Which means you have a better chance of getting to the top.

    KEI means Keyword Effectiveness Index,Keyword Effectiveness Index is a mathematical representation of the popularity of a keyword compared to its popularity measured as the number of pages in a search engines index.
    It is the measure of how effective a keyword is for your web site.

    If your website is new then try to use keywords having higher KEI to achieve good results in less time....in major search engines.....

    In on page optimization we make changes with coding part of web page that affects its ranking on SERP. Keywords analysis, Keyword in title tag, Keyword in URL, Keyword in domain name, Keyword in description meta tag, Keyword in keyword tag, Keyword density, Header tags and Keyword in image alt text.

    In on page optimization we first do the keyword analysis using google keyword tool. Keywords with high traffic and low competition are selected and further selection is done depending upon the ratio of competition and traffic on a particular keyword. When appropriate keywords are selected, meta tags are decided for the pages of that website.

    The Keyword Effectiveness Index compares the number of searches for a keyword with the number of search results to pinpoint which keywords are most effective for your campaign.
    Suppose the number of searches for a keyword is 486 per month and Google displays 214,234 results for that keyword. Then the ratio between the popularity and competitiveness for that keyword is 486 divided by 214,234. In this case, the Keyword Effectiveness Index 0.002.
    The higher the Keyword Effectiveness Index, the more popular your keywords are, and the less competition they have. That means that you might have a better chance of getting to the top.
