Page vanished from Google

The main page of my site http://www.skdevelopment.com vanished from Google today. It really is not present in the index, not just lowered in rank. All other pages are still present (at least that is what site:http://www.skdevelopment.com shows).

The link popularity of the main page is much higher than of the other site pages (I mean actual incoming links - the Google PR is the same almost for all pages).

It happend before that Google significantly lowered my site in index. And it happend that some other pages vanished. But their link popularity is much weaker. And the main page never before vanished for the index completely.

The uptime monitor shows that the site was available. Though I use a free one so maybe the data could be not absolutely reliable.

I know it is too early to worry about it. I'll have to wait for some more days before jumping to any conclusions. Probably my site was unavailable or something ...

Did anyone experience similar problems in the last few days ?

I've read the Google FAQ and it seems that I have simply to wait till the page returns to the index. But I would be VERY greatful for any advice on how to return to the Google index sooner.

There is nothing that you can do but wait and pray. You may want to check to see if you have broken any Google-rules, and that you are not using 'spammy' promotion methods. BMW also got dropped from Google recently...

I never used any doorway pages or other technologies which Google does not like. I try to be very careful about it. Thanks for the advice. It seems I'll have to wait and be patient.

Edit: It seems Google has just been updating its database or something. Now everything is back to normal. Google algorithms of indexing are really very effective - I did not expect it to happen so quickly (just a few hours have passed). So I really just had to wait for a while. Dotancohen, thanks again for a good advice !
